Grey LED floor lamp Gru - designed by Egon Eiermann
With the Gru LED floor lamp, a modern but simultaneously retro lighting object was created by the designer Egon Eiermann which is not only convincing due to its look but also due to its built-in technology. Thanks to the graceful, puristically designed frame, which is comprised of cone-shaped base, a narrow, chrome-plated metal rod and also a cone-shaped lampshade, which beams the light upwards towards ceiling, it appears both modern and classic. It can therefore be incorporated harmoniously into any interior design and creates beautiful, indirect lighting. The brightness can be adjusted as required using the rotary dimmer integrated on the lamp head.
Egon Eiermann is one of the most relevant designers from the post-war period. He has designed functional buildings, among other things, like the German Embassy in Washington or the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in Berlin. He has also always been a renowned designer in the furniture and lighting industry.
