Round pendant lamp Algarve made of cork by Good & Mojo

Made of sustainable cork, this pendant lamp convinces with its natural appearance. Cork has been used as a popular material for many years and is considered particularly sustainable because it does not damage the tree itself when harvested. The entire, round, very flat shade is crafted from cork and finished in a natural hue. A black and white textile cable forms the suspension and merges into a discreet round canopy. Due to the nature of the shade, the light beam is emitted downwards over a large area. The open design makes the illuminant to be used directly visible, which is why it is recommended to use decorative filament lamps. Algarve is an attractive lighting element for tables and counters, which gives the room a natural character.

Good & Mojo has the majority of their lights handmade by artisans in small, local communities in Vietnam. This is done using ancient, traditional techniques and allows many families to earn a living in this way.

The manufacturer also supports the WakaWaka Foundation. This foundation raises funds to provide solar products to needy families who do not enjoy the luxury of a functioning power grid. In addition, since 2019, a tree is planted for every lamp sold, which is realized in cooperation with the organization Eden Reforestation Projects.
