Chouchin is a series of lamps whose name and design derive from traditional Japanese lanterns. These inspired the French designer Ionna Vautrin to the concept of the series for the Italian lighting company Foscarini. While the lampions are made of paper or bamboo, the shades of the variant Chouchin Bianco 3 consist of blown opal glass. This illuminates the environment pleasantly and evenly; in addition, thanks to the opening incorporated at the bottom, for example, direct table lighting is achieved.

Added to this is the modern controllability via app. The integrated Casambi Bluetooth module enables a coupling with the tablet/smartphone without additional accessories.
