With marble holder: LED wall lamp Galerie by designer Federico PeriThe design of the wall lamp Galerie combines four different materials: marble, metal, glass and leather. This mixture stands for an interesting look, which is complemented by the quality and the processing of the materials. The diffuser glass is mouth-blown and fourfold overlaid. When switched on, the glass appears amber, when switched off, white. The light brown leather strap, which holds the glass on the wall mounting, not only fulfils practical purposes, but is also decorative. In addition, the shape and type of suspension of the light source are reminiscent of antique oil lamps or lanterns - naturally interpreted in a very modern way. The synergy of the historical and the contemporary is a major theme that preoccupies the Italian designer Federico Peri in his work. In the Galerie luminaire series, he has realised this with the contemporary interpretation of past lighting elements.
