Simple design with perfect features for the workplace
It is a rather simple and minimal design, created by the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa for Artemide. But it is precisely this simplicity that lies behind the secret of the Demetra LED table lamp. It fits in wonderfully at every workstation, is inconspicuous, merges with the background and can be adjusted to any desired and required position thanks to the movable arms.
It’s technical features are very impressive: The rotatable and tiltable head accommodates a highly efficient LED that can be easily switched on and off as well as dimmed using a button on the head.
Naoto Fukasawa, who created this design for Artemide in 2012, is an internationally renowned Japanese industrial designer. His approach to product design is "Without Thoughts," which simply means that design should not be about the product's shape, but rather about the context in which it is used. And in this Demetra LED table lamp was very much a success. Here the focus is on application, the form remains strictly minimal.
