How do I install my ceiling fan with lighting?

Just as you would any other ceiling fan in your home, using a conventional ceiling connection (L, N, PE). The ceiling fan and light can then be separately controlled using a pull cord or a handy remote control. Do you sell ceiling fans with LED lighting?

LED technology is paving the way in a wide variety of lighting areas – including ceiling fans. You can choose between a light with permanent LED technology or one with standardised sockets, such as E27. You can easily retrofit your ceiling fan with a suitable LED bulb, too – allowing you to save money and the protect environment.

Can I buy a remote-controlled ceiling fan with lighting?

If you want to control your ceiling fan and light without lifting a finger, look no further – many of our ceiling fan lights are remote-controlled. Super practical! The functions covered by the remote control vary from model to model. In most cases, however, you can switch the light on and off and control the fan speed. On top of this, you can dim the light for some our models.

Do any ceiling fans let you dim the light?

In some products, yes. If you want maximum convenience and flexibility with your ceiling fan and light, we recommend choosing a dimmable one. Simply check the product description when choosing your fixture that “Dimmable - Yes” is listed. Then all you need to do is connect the matching external dimmer and you’ll be enjoying the perfect fan in no time.

Can you use ceiling fan lights in winter?

Besides the light it provides, which during long winter nights is perhaps more useful than in summer, the ceiling fan element is incredibly convenient in winter. It’s all to do with circulating warm air from the radiator or fireplace evenly around the room – otherwise known as winter mode or return function. In winter mode, the rotating fan directs warm air, which tends to rise towards the ceiling and escape, back down towards you, keeping you nice and warm and saving on heating costs.
