Why should I choose modern brass and gold ceiling lights?

Brass and gold ceiling lights used to be associated with “Art Deco” decor only.

Not anymore.

They’re now classed as modern - especially in trendy black-gold and white-gold combinations.

Which bulb should I use in brass and gold ceiling lights?

Our range of modern ceiling lights in brass and gold come with two bulb options:

  • Permanently installed LEDs

  • Replaceable bulbs

With permanently installed LEDs, if you’re looking to create a cosy ambience make sure the light colour in your room is warm white, less than 3,300 Kelvin and that the brightness is appropriate for the size of the room.

However, with replaceable bulbs, it’s best to choose LED bulbs over the classic carbon filament.

Why?

Because not only do they save energy, they last longer too!

Should you want the look and feel of an ‘old-style’ bulb in an ‘open lamp’, go with an LED filament bulb, designed and inspired by classic carbon filament lights.

Another stylish alternative, especially for brass and gold ceiling lights, is head mirror lamps, especially those with reflective gold-coloured bulb heads.
