Product Description

Retro design from the year 1954: hanging light Dokka in matt black

With the hanging light Dokka, you are holding a piece of European design history in your hands. The Norwegian Birger Dahl put the first design for this light into practice in 1954. In so doing, he created an object which quickly became a classic of post-war design and became one of the best-selling Norwegian lights. The Dokka model is also the first Norwegian light which has won the Golden Medal Award at the Triennale di Milano.

Several decades later, the hanging light Dokka was rediscovered and put back into production. New colours have been added, but one thing has remained: its unmistakeable shape. The steel body suggests a long life and unbreakability. The fact the Dokka fulfils these attributes is proven by its survival into the 21st century.
