Equipped with a bridge arm and spring dampers in the joints, the cream-coloured shade can be moved silently, even though the model is made of solid brass. Seda owes this to a combination of a needle bearing and a ball bearing, which gives the model its incomparably light handling. The spring in the joint ensures that readjustment of the usual joint screw is unnecessary. Also, the height of the lamp can be changed from 130 to 174 cm.

Below the shade on the frame is a switch, which also changes the brightness of Seda by a long press. An integrated memory plays the previously selected setting after switching on again directly. The shade is provided with a so-called fine-crash shade, which presents a light pattern in wonderful contrast to the brass frame. The joints here are polished, which gives the design a stately touch. The cable outlet is on one side of the base plate.
