Elegant Laguna glass table lamp designed by Matteo Thun

The Laguna table lamp is a very special interior accessory. Visually, it boasts a pillar-shaped metal base, on top of which there is an opal glass sphere. This becomes slightly transparent at the top and emits a light like a spotlight. The light is not only emitted upwards. A gentle light also escapes into the surrounding area all around and bathes it in an atmospheric ambience.

The glass lampshade was handblown. Laguna can be used anywhere in the living space, e.g. on the bedside cabinet in the bedroom, on a chest of drawers in the living room or as inviting accent lighting on a window sill.

Laguna was designed by the Italian designer Matteo Thun, who believes that the product design should reflect the soul of the brand. The multiple award-winning designer was admitted to the Interior Hall of Fame in New York in 2004.

Since it was founded in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi, Artemide has become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of designer lights and its products are regarded as contemporary design icons.
