With the light language of Alphabet of light, freedom can be communicated: let your thoughts run free and form words and sentences that have a very specific meaning or message.

The Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) has designed a new typeface whose form of expression is light. With this alphabet, diverse light creations can be created in both private and public spaces.

The individual letters, numbers and characters are supplied on a blister pack, which provides the right grip during installation. This mounting method is suitable for drywall, which has a space at the back where the required driver (available via accessories) and the supply lines can be accommodated.

The Bjarke Ingels Group BIG is an association of architects and designers whose projects focus on technical awareness while at the same time conserving resources. The luminaire series Alphabet of light reflects this, as do projects such as the Harbour Bath in Copenhagen (2003), the 8 House (2010), Superkilen (2012) and the Danish Maritime Museum.
