The revival of Art Déco with the wall light by Rosi Findeisen and Jo Kähne - quality made in Germany
Art Déco is an artistic style of innovation, which arose in the 1920s and went up to 1940. It is a blend of sculpted elegance, precious materials, strong colours and a touch of sensuality. All of these features are reflected in this light product that was completely created in the Art Déco style and designed by Rosi Findeisen and Jo Kähne in 1980.
In terms of Art Déco, the opal glass lampshade was clearly structured and resembles a stylised torch together with the frame made of chrome-plated metal or brass. The premium, perfectly processed material renders a particularly elegant look or an antique-looking atmosphere. The sensuality of the subject is obvious when you consider that the two designers have painstakingly grappled with the forms of our history.

The company TECNOLUMEN - Programme with heart
The company TECNOLUMEN is based entirely on the Bauhaus-style: Their first product was the Wagenfeld table lamp in 1979. In addition to Wilhelm Wagenfeld’s models, TECNOLUMEN integrated even more design classics of Bauhaus in their program; from Marianne Brandt to the designs of other designers such as Walter Schnepel. Art Deco and De Stijl are also shaping the program of this manufacturer.
