Hi, thank you for your question. This light is only dimmable by remote control, not a wall dimmer.

I wanted a light that is nearly invisible and these look perfect..
Very well made and quite heavy with 2 x wire security wires to stop them falling..
The light is spread evenly and the remote works perfectly..
I believe from looking inside the LED,s are around the edge..
I would recommend these and the other fittings I purchased too..
