Organic looking LED pendant luminaire Algae made of three curved elements
Three tubes made of aluminium, which are combined in different heights and provided with bends in different orientations, form the LED pendant lamp Algae. For name and optics, the Austrian designer Rainer Mutsch was inspired by water plants that seem to float in the water.
The light of the LEDs, which are placed inside the tubes, is emitted downwards at an angle of 55°. This makes Algae suitable for direct lighting - especially in modern, spacious interior areas such as reception halls, foyers or halls. Whether used individually or in groups with several luminaires, the pendant luminaire with its high-tech lens system in a filigree microfacet structure provides glare-free area lighting and adds a lively detail to the room with its design.
